Matt Kollar is currently the Director of Marketing and Operations at VerdeGo Aero in Daytona Beach, FL. Matt has a long history of Engineering and a diverse background in Aviation, Healthcare, Paralegal Studies and Continuous Improvement. Matt’s career started as a quality and process engineer for Perkin-Elmer Belfab and EG&G overseeing all quality and process functions in the areas of Aerospace, Medical and Ultra High Vacuum. Matt is a certified ISO 9001 auditor and was the lead auditor for The Brunswick Boat Group headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee overseeing all auditing duties and corrective actions for Sea Ray, Bayliner and Meridian pleasure boats; Boston Whaler offshore fishing boats; and Crestliner, Cypress Cay, Harris (formerly FloteBote), Lowe, Lund, Princecraft fishing, deck, and pontoon boats. Prior to his role as Director of Marketing and Operations at VerdeGo Aero, Matt held the position of Project Manager and Director of Lean Manufacturing for Energizer Holdings, Inc. with primary responsibilities of leading and conducting continuous improvement efforts for Playtex Products, Inc., Schick and razor brand Wilkinson Sword, Edge, Hawaiian Tropic and Banana Boat suntan products. Matt’s primary responsibilities for VerdeGo Aero encompass, Purchasing and Receiving, Supply Chain Management, Human Resource duties such as onboarding new hires and termination processes, assisting with payroll and benefits coordination. Matt also leads Marketing efforts which includes website production, press releases on product information and partnerships. Other responsibilities include general accounting, property insurance maintenance, contract review, contract negotiations and NDA agreements with various customer’s, vendor’s, and potential investors. Matt is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Certified Lean Black Belt from (IISE) The Institute of Industrial Systems and Engineers. Matt holds a Master of Science in Technical Management and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
